精神科醫師阿才瀕臨崩潰邊緣；被失戀打擊的錄音師小湯跑錯了拍片現場；上班族小雲做愛後忍受男友跟另一個愛人在電話裡甜言蜜語。這三個人都走到了生命的十字路口，他們需要逃離，然後才能再一次尋到自己。小湯離開台北，邁向東海岸的旅程。小雲剛搬家，不斷收到寄給前房客的信，有一天小雲打開了信封，聽了這些錄音帶裡面的聲音，讓生活在枯燥與苦悶的小雲決定離開台北，出發去尋找錄音帶裡頭的聲音發出的地方…。
Psychiatrist A- tsai who is on the verge of breaking down, a sound recordist Xiao Tang who is dumped by his girlfriend, and office worker Royun whose boyfriend has another lover have all arrived at the crossroads of their lives. In order to find themselves again, they each embark on a journey which would bring them out of their current rut and change their lives…
